RALLY Cancellations
When a rider cancels their booking for a rally or clinic
For rider cancellations prior to rally day, please advise the Rally Coordinator as soon as possible if you cannot attend your booked lesson.
If you cancel on the day of the rally, please advise the Rally Coordinator so we know not to worry about you and we can make any required changes to the timetable to ensure the day runs smoothly.
The following conditions relate to cancellations:
When WEYV may cancel a rally or clinic
WEYV may cancel a rally or clinic if there aren’t sufficient numbers to make the rally viable.
WEYV also has a cancellation policy in relation to extreme weather conditions.
If the weather forecast is for 34 degrees or above, a Total Fire Ban day or Code Red Day, the rally will be cancelled for the safety of all involved – this not only includes the riding of horses during the heat, but also transporting them in the heat as we have a number of members who travel substantial distances.
A decision will be made about cancellation 36 hours prior to the rally.
If WEYV cancels an event in accordance with the above, fees already paid for bookings will be refunded or credited.
Cancellations will be communicated via email and text message - so please make sure we always have your current contact information.
