WEYV welcomes all riding abilities, backgrounds, styles and breeds. If you are looking for a fun way to train seriously, and with respect for your horse, in a friendly and supportive environment, we look forward to welcoming you.
Horses are introduced gradually to obstacles in-hand first in a supportive and friendly environment.
We also welcome those riding bitless and barefoot.
The HRCAV year is 1 November to 31 October. Pro rata membership fees are not applicable. But members new to HRCAV can receive a discount on the HRCAV insurance after 1st August.
Note: Junior Members (aged 14-18 years) must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all WEYV events.
How to Join
To join as a new member, you will need to complete:
1. WEYV Membership Form and
2. HRCAV Annual Disclaimer and
3. WEYV Medical Emergency Form. *This form not required for renewals unless any details have changed

Once membership is completed:
TO RENEW YOUR MEMBERSHIP: bring your green HRCAV Membership Card to the next rally for stamping. Alternatively, send it with your membership paperwork and enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope for return.
NOTE: The HRCAV financial year runs from 1st November to the 31st October. You will not be insured or able to ride at a rally or compete at an event until your membership card has been stamped for the current financial year.

- You will be coverered by HRCAV insurance ride at and travel to and from any HRCAV event.
- You will be included on the WEYV members list to receive notifications of rallies and other club events.
- You will be entitled to member rates at all rallies, clinics and events.
- You will be welcome to attend committee meetings
- Members new to HRCAV receive a green HRCAV membership card.
- Each year you renew, this green card needs to be validated (stamped and signed by the secretary or treasurer).
- New Members also receive a free full set of HRCAV performance cards for each discipline.
